The annual Members Show caps the year, celebrating the achievements of our members and gallery exhibitions of the Coastal Arts League.
Submissions are open to visual artists working in all media. Artworks may be two-dimensional or three, and of any material. You may submit more than one image of each piece.
Coastal Arts League Gallery, Zaballa Square, 300 Main St. Half Moon Bay, CA, in a ground floor gallery. The exhibition gallery is 535 square feet, with north-facing windows.
Displayable media categories are:
Poetry, sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, collage, assemblage, mixed media, and fiber art. The art must be able to hang on the wall or occupy a 15” square pedestal.

About the Coastal Arts League:
The Coastal Arts League is a 100% volunteer run non-profit corporation, 501(c)(3) 94-2704204, located on the San Mateo coast of Northern California. Since 1979, CAL has supported the creative arts in the Coastside Community, by offering:
General Membership Dues: $60
($50 for Seniors or students)

Submit images of two Artworks:
Send an email to Caljuriedshow@gmail.com, with the following information: Artist’s name, address, website, email address, and phone number. Attach images of two works with the title, medium, size, and price of each piece. Add a brief paragraph about the work, to be included on the wall cards.
Size and Weight limits?
Each piece must be manageable by one person.

• Entry period closes: November 30, 2017 at 6:00 pm (PST)
• Paid members will be accepted for this show.
• Artwork in-take: December 4, 2017, Noon to 5:00pm
• Exhibition on view: December 9, 2017 to January 7, 2018
• Reception: December 9, 2017 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm
• Artwork pick-up: January 8, 2018
Terms and Conditions:
By entering you are verifying the submitted work is yours, that you have the rights to the images or artwork.
You are granting The Coastal Arts League (CAL) the right to use entered work for the website, printed lists of selected images, and for future show promotions. All Rights to submitted Images remain the property of the Artist.
CAL retains a 30% commission on work sold, and collects sales tax. All proceeds support exhibitions, operations, and educational programming of the Coastal Arts League.
The Coastal Arts League accepts no responsibility for pieces in the show. It is the responsibility of the artist to provide his or her own insurance, if the artist feels it is required.
CAL promotes all shows through announcements to CAL members, photography clubs, art centers and associations, and throughout the region. Entrants are not responsible for show promotion. However, it is recommended each entrant let family, friends and colleagues know about the show and reception.
