Fundraising accounts for about 40% of our annual budget. Half comes from individual donors. There are two seasons of public fundraising each year. In the Spring, we participate in Coastside Gives, a community-wide drive to support local nonprofits. Then in the Fall we have the annual membership campaign.
Coastside Gives ends on May 6. Early Giving allows for contributions in advance, so let’s promote our cause early. The Giving Guide is mailed to every home during the first week of May. This is the marketing piece that reminds our friends to contribute.
Together we raise awareness of the importance of art as part of a healthy life. We reach out to people at home with online resources for art activities that the whole family can enjoy. Activities can be found on our website, Coastside-Artists.com.
