Size and Weight limits: Each piece must be manageable by one curator. Maximum size for 2-D work is 24”x 32”. Larger sizes may be accepted with approval of the Curator. All 2-D artwork must be gallery-ready, with hanging wire on back. Gallery wrapped canvas must be a minimum of 1" in depth. Use plexiglass, not glass, in framed pieces larger than 24 x 30". Pedestals are 13x13" or 18x18".
Rules of Entry:
By entering, you are verifying the submitted work is your original work, and that you have the rights to the images or artwork.
Accepted work must be delivered gallery-ready. Prepare 2-dimensional work with D-rings and picture wire. Label each piece (artist, title, medium, image size, and price).
All exhibited work must be for sale. Artists receive 70% of the sales price for sold work. CAL collects sales tax, and retains a 30% commission to support exhibitions, operations, and educational programs of the nonprofit Coastal Arts League.
You are granting the Coastal Arts League (CAL) the right to use entered work for the website, printed lists of selected images, and for future show promotions. All rights to submitted images remain the property of the artist.

This show will be online as well as in the gallery. Once accepted, the work should be withdrawn from other contests until the end of the show.
Acceptable upload-ready file formats:
File Type: JPG
File Dimensions: 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side.
File Size: No larger than 5 MB.
Color Profile: sRGB
Image files must be of high quality, in sharp focus and a true representation of the original art.
Image of 2D art should include only the artwork, no frame
