Art Classes at the Senior Center
925 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, CA Every Friday 12:30 - 2:00 Can you believe that it's Spring already? Thank you wonderful art teachers for guiding us.
Adult art classes at the Senior Center are popular with several new regular participants. We have had lessons on acrylic painting with Patti Appel and watercolor basics with Gail Dennis. Greta Waterman teaches oil pastel with a little art history for inspiration. Laura McHugh returns to teaching this summer and Anne Grauzlis continues to host the free weekly classes. Seating in the art room is limited, so be sure to arrive early. Who Can take the Art classes?Classes are open to adults from around the Coastside. Residency isn't required. Parking is available. Each Friday afternoon, a different artist brings his or her talents to the Community Center for a fun social experience centered on art. Everyone loves creating a piece of art to take home while socializing with new friends. Taught by volunteers, there is no cost to workshop participants. Materials are provided by the Coastal Arts League.
