Plein Air 6: Half Moon Bay Plein Air Painters opens July 28 at the Coastal Arts League
20 artists, over 100 interpretations of the natural world. This exhibit, on view from July 28 through
August 28, shows how each artist, working within their own personal view, technique and medium gives
visitors an insight of over 100 ways to see their world.

Using oil on board and gauche on board, the works of Robin Mize burst with color. The peacefully subtle
watercolors by artist Gail Dennis promote another approach. Large oil paintings by Barbara Greensweig
show landscape details, while another artist’s pen and acrylic works depict an impressionist view. Bold
abstractions, smaller oil paintings, and large oil works of gold fields and San Gregorio beach are also
included.
