The San Mateo coastline and surrounding ranches, harbors and lighthouses inspired 16 artists to create watercolors, gouache, oils, pastels in a new exhibit on view from Thursday, August 16 through Sunday September 12 at the Coastal Arts League Museum and Gallery, 300 Main Street in Half Moon Bay.

A public reception, showcasing 60 works, takes place at the Coastal Arts League on Saturday, August 21 from 1 to 4:00 pm. Visitors can meet participating artists and talk to them about their various creative processes, including working outdoors, in plein air. All works are available for sale.
