Daily Measures To Protect Gallery Host Health
- One Gallery Host is assigned for each shift to manage the front desk and all sales transactions.
- Guests, Gallery Host, and Gallery Assistants are required to wear facemasks in the galleries.
- Gallery Host maintains at least six feet distance from customers and Gallery Assistants, except when necessary to accept payment or deliver goods or services.
- Encourage cash donors to deposit currency in the Donation Box.
- Do not require signatures for card purchases.
- Use disposable single-use gloves for handling artwork.
- Provide curbside pick-up after items are sold online.
- Appointments can be arranged for customers to see artwork in the galleries.
- Gallery Host sanitizes the front desk and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Disinfectant and related supplies are available to Gallery Hosts in the office/storeroom.
- Soap and water are available to Gallery Hosts in the office/storeroom.
- Hand sanitizer and wipes effective against COVID-19 are available at the front desk.
- A copy of this Protocol is published on the website, mailed to gallery hosts and assistants, and posted at each entrance.

Measures To Keep People At Least Six Feet Apart during Receptions
- Limit the number of visitors in the gallery at any one time to fifteen (15)
- Post a sign at each entrance to set forth the maximum number of customers allowed in each gallery.
- Post a Gallery Assistant at each door to ensure that the maximum number of customers in the gallery, set forth above, is not exceeded.
- Place tape on the floor inside the gallery and at entrances with signs reminding customers to use the markings to maintain distance.
- Gallery Assistants are instructed to maintain at least six feet distance from customers and from each other, except momentarily when necessary to deliver goods or services.
Measures To Prevent Unnecessary Contact During Receptions
- Doors are kept open to prevent touching door handles. (weather permitting)
- Food items are individually packaged wherever possible.
- Open plates of food are not available for self-service by guests.
- Use disposable single-use gloves for serving food.
- Paper cups, plates, and napkins are provided for receptions.

- Face masks are available to the public at the front desk.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available at the front desk.
- Soap and water are available to gallery assistants in the storeroom/office.
- Disinfect all high-touch surfaces frequently.
- Discourage public use of restrooms.
- Wash hands after handling restroom key.
- Wash hands after handling currency.
